Vinod Kothari

Vinod is the Founder partner of Apex Law Partners since June 2005 and has helmed its journey. He began his career as a litigator and established the Banking vertical in Apex Law Partners. He aimed to create a full-service Securitisation and Banking advisory to meet all client requirements related to Securitisation acquisition, resolution, and Recovery. Today, he is recognized for his 360 degree view on all aspects of the Banking and Securitisation industry and is considered as an industry veteran known for his practical and solution-oriented approach and exceptional service-oriented attitude.

Vinod provides strategic legal counsel to various Securitisation and Banking clients. He caters to their requirements on all aspects of Banking and Securitisation due diligence, acquisition, resolution, and recovery.

Vinod also specialises in while collared crimes and economic offences such as cheating, breach of trust, forgery, fraud, Negotiable Instruments Act 1881 offences.

In addition to aforesaid work, Vinod plays a key role in handling significant and complex litigation and arbitrations within the sector. He also works extensively on insolvency and bankruptcy-related matters, representing a diverse range of stakeholders, including creditors, resolution professionals, resolution applicants, and borrowers, before various forums, including NCLTs, NCLAT, DRT, DRAT, all courts and tribunals such as revenue courts / tribunals, district courts, High Courts, Supreme Court of India.
